Road Trip Countdown: Ormonde Plantation

Ormonde Plantation
(as it appears today)
The Ormonde Plantation was one of the workplaces owned by the Farrar and Ellis family descendants of Louisiana and Mississippi. The first time reference I saw regarding the Ormonde Plantation was on a private inventory of slaves dated 1829. Included on the inventory were enslaved Africans by the names of Chisolm and Maryanne and their daughters Charity, Margaret and Hannah.
